a remote control that turns on/off a bedroom light, rather than having to get up after you just laid down in bed to turn off the switch.

Umm, probably has a little more to do with the laws of physics. If we ever discover how to move at the speed of light, then time travel is not far behind.

Amen. I mean sooo many people have soo much to gain. My buddy tells me to just give up because if Donald Trump cant save his hair with all that money than neither can I.

But I still have hope as long as I still have most of my hair.

I would think that with the amount of money invested in cars, the fundamental design would've changed over the years. The technology has improved to be sure - a few new features - but the basic design of the car hasn't really undergone a serious change since the introduction of the automatic transmission - has it?

Well techinically they could do it right now but would not be practical. I have heard something about cold-fusion, what is that? Something about how its impossible?

There actually is a cure for cancer. Your body has an internal ph, which ranges from about 6.6 to 7.4, with 7 being a neutral ph. Anything below 7 is considered an acidic ph and anything above 7 is considered an alkaline ph. You cannot get cancer, and can cure cancer if you already have it, by maintaining an alkaline ph in your body; cancer cannot survive in an alkaline environment. Unfortunately alot of foods we eat pull our internal ph toward the acidic spectrum; meats and breads are highly acidic. Green vegetables, bananas, potatos, some fruits depending on your personal ability to breakdown acids, almonds i think, are alkalizing and good for you body.

There are cures for lots of diseases, the government, FDA, drug companies, they are all evil and want you to remain sick so that you can keep buying their products and increase their profits. I recommend getting Kevin Trudeau's book, Natural Cures They Don't Want You to Know About. Also try The Acid Alkaline Diet, and Water: For Health, For Life: You're Not Sick You're Thirsty. There are also cures for diabetes, herpes, and some more effective treatments for hiv and aids too.

super-duper ray gun (every sci-fi movie used 'em)
personal jet packs- fly to work :)
auto-pilot for autos- another sci-fi treat
Robots that perform complex human tasks- besides vacuuming- you know the ones that look like sci-fi robots.

When are we going to look back over 50 yrs of sci-fi and invent some cool stuff?

Yeah...if we could get robots to perform enough complex tasks, then there wouldn't be a need for wives...
