I work at the airport and today I was greeting Continental Airlines inbound flight 430 from San Francisco and here came Yao ducking under the doorway! I said, "What's up, Yao!" He said, "What's up!"

He was by himself, dressed in a khaki colored suit, looked pretty tired!

    But anyway, WELCOME BACK YAO!

I met Yao's dad (I think he said his name was George Ming) at the airport a couple of weeks ago. He was a very nice guy. He was there with some other guys (who could have been bodyguards/karate champs). He said that Yao is happy at home in China. He also said that Yao was looking forward to playing in the.......

Hey man, he's just been practicing the sleepy eyed McGrady look. Next thing you know he'll be hitting back to back three pointers.

Yao's dad has no 'Ming' in his name so how could his name be George Ming?

Once again it's George Yao.

That's probably the same suit he wore 3 years ago when he stepped off the plane for the first time in Houston.

Get a new suit boy! :D

Continental Air, the boy just signed a max deal. Yao should have returned to H-Town styling in his own Lear jet. And where's the bling, he needs some gold chains and jewelery.

I was watching a documentary series about Yao's 2nd season as a Rocket. A couple of things I found interesting was
    1. Rockets regretted about picking Yao in his 1st season
    2. JVG gave Yao a book to read called "Good to Great"

He probably looked tired because of jet-lag or an uneasy sleep on the plane. And by the way, WHERE THE HELL ARE THE PICS! God! I can't believe you all aren't walking around with your digital cameras at all times. I don't know what's worse, people that post articles that are buried 3 pages into the BBS or people who post sightings with no pictures. If it wasn't for board-Nazis dispensing shame at every opportunity you degenerates would ruin this board.

My exact 1st thought too. Yao even talked about it in the documentary that he didnt feel safe to be a Rocket after his good friend Yang Yi broke the news to him.
