Going by that logic, Bosh is better than Shaq because he means more to the Raptors than Shaq to the Heat.

I guess that makes Bosh the #1 center in the league right? And since Orlando went into the tank after trading Cuttino Mobley, Cat is the best 2-guard in the league!

To emulate some of our great posters on this board in using this sacred image...

I see potential of [IMG] on this thread, much like Chris Bosh himself :D ;)

That was suppose to be the "clutchfans classic moment pic" which somehow did not turn out right :)

my bad guys.....i just think nobody on this board was giving Bosh respect......i had to stick up for him :) ...plus everyone hates on the Raps these days.....

i do agree that Ming is the #2 center in the league....happy guys :D

in honesty...i don't think you can compare Ming to Bosh...have to compare apples to apples...not an apple to an orange posing to be an apple....hope that made sense to y'all :D

I think Bosh is a great player actually, had him on my fantasy squad last year so i can attest to his numbers at least. I just dont think he belongs on this list cuz well you know he's a PF and Rafael Arrujo or whatever his name was always playing the C spot

Why is it that almost every sports writer before Yao was ever drafted predicted the next Shawn Bradley and most said that if he ever scored 15 and 8, he would be a successful pick.

Now he has to be a 20 and 10 guy to even be worth mentioning? What the heck is this double standard applied to Yao?

Let's not forget the fact that he gets better every year. I'm thinking Yao will improve his game for almost his entire career until his body starts to give out, just like Hakeem.

That's a great point. It seems sportswriters rarely look at Yao objectively. There has always been a lot of hype around Yao. But underneath there are always views that he is nothing more than a glorified Sean Bradley...Now needless to say there is a huge gap between the hype and the perception that he wont amount to anything.

So anything short of living up to the hype, they seem to knock him down lower than he really is..saying he's a disappointment or isnt doing this or isnt doing that. If Yao had suddenly appeared out of nowhere and no one had any expectations one way or the other, I bet he would be ranked higher than this. And people would go on and on about his "upside"...

I will predict right now that Yao will have the most productive year in his NBA career...and that is amazing considering how good his past stats are. Still, if it falls short of hype some will still consider him a disappointment...

vince i think bosh is a TERRIFIC player but he's isn't a center, therefore shouldn't even be on this list. and if he was a center he isn't better than yao, at least not yet. i think bosh is going to be a 20 & 10 guy, but i think yao is going to do that too.

Exactly. All the posters in this thread who complained about Bosh ranking ahead of Yao at C are wasting your breath. You SHOULD be complaining that Bosh is even being ranked as a C at all... since he plays PF almost exclusively.

Bradley says "Where am I on the list?"
Yao looks over and says "Who's your daddy?'
