The Pill isn't a bad idea either; I know it was considered to start a sociological revolution. I didn't include it because there are other methods, both high and low-tech, that have been figured out since then. But it did open up a lot of doors. Imagine knowing that as soon as you're married (or otherwise not celibate) then you turn into a baby factory...

Ohhhh, I'm sorry ladies, and gentlemen. Time's up.

The correct answer was Arch Deluxe.

Honorable mention goes to the McLobster, as well.

Come on, FFB, the McRib practically created the "limited time only" fast food menu craze. Now, just about every fast food chain has a "limited time only" item...hell, half of Jack in the Box's menu is limited time only at any given point...

Well, I was being a tad sarcastic.

White castle came up with the first fast-food burger, revolutionizing fast food

McDonald's came up with a conveyor system to create cheap burgers, revolutionizing fast food

Roy Kroc came up with franchising, which revolutionized fast food

Wendy's came up with the drive -thru window, which revolutionized it again.

Chick-Fil-A came up with the fast food chicken sandwich.

McRib was indeed a boom for the limited only idea.

The newest idea in fast food, which would be revolutionary of sorts, is to have a magnetic strip that attaches to your car, much like the tollways have. That way, once you order, you're automatically billed, so no need to fumble with cash, check, or charge.,

I remember the movie Donnie Darko mentioning sanitation as a crucial invention. How else are you going to cram millions of people inside a square miles worth of land? Before that, soldiers died from disease and infection more than bullets.

Car companies buying local trolley systems probably sealed the deal for suburbia.

The microprocessor that replaced vacuum tubes.

So what is the McNugget supposed to signify? The first "meat" product made of compressed chicken particle-board from several different birds?

I'm also going to put the George Foreman grill as the savior to guys who live alone.

High speed internet is big because if it didn't exist, there wouldn't be digitized media, mp3's, movies, etc.
