Amare officially plays the center position, Duncan has always been a PF in the NBA.

The moment I saw Chris Bosh at No.3 and Yao at No.5 on the list last night, I knew it was going to cause an uproar on this board. :D

Aren't the Raptors building their team around Bosh?

Lots of good posts here including this one, but even though I agree with this it literally made me nauseous. Seattle was the only team that was talented enough to cheat successfully when Dream was in his prime and I don't think I'll ever get over it. I'll always hate them more than Utah, Spurs and Mavs combined. Additionally just one NBA final's appearance against Jordan's Bulls and both Dream's and Jordan's legacies would have been different. No justice.

First off Bosh and Howard don't even play center...apparently this guy doesn't even watch the NBA. i know ben wallace is a GREAT defender and rebounder but a guy who averages like 7 ppg should NEVER be in the top 5 centers...EVER.

I think Yao is 2nd or 3rd, depending if you count Amare as a center...

Show me a GM who would take Chris Bosh over Yao Ming and I'll show you Isaiah Thomas.

Come on, even Isiah Thomas isn't going to take Bosh over Yao. With Yao on the Knicks, that team might actually break even.

Obviously Bosh is a good, border-line player, but we`re comparing him to Yao , there is no comparison. Yao is the better player, better shooter, better passer, better scorer, more dominant on both sides of the court, and a teammate that obviously FA`s like Tmac and co. wants to play with.

You're right, he wouldn't take Bosh over Yao, Isaiah would be too busy targeting Mo Taylor and Malik Rose!

what Bosh brings to the Raptors at the Center position(which he will be playing this season) is more than what Ming will bring to the Houston Rockets...(take Bosh away from the Raptors and you won't have more than 10 wins...can't say that for the Rockets)......by the way Bosh will be a superstar in this league.....something Ming has not been able to do at the age of 25.

    Wield reasoning

Even you take Tmac out, Rockets will still have 10 more wins than
Raptors with Bosh. So Bosh > Tmac? yes Bosh will be a superstar
    and Tmac wouldn't. LOL.

What the...? Since when did u become a troll? The Raptors were no where NEAR playoff contention in the Leastern conference and you're bragging about how great Posh is?

I'm just curious how you thought he'd bring more to the center position than Yao when Yaos a better scorer and defender, significantly, than your fella.
I think Posh is good, no doubt, but it's kind of ridiculous to have potential as your only leg to stand on when talking smack about your player.

Also, I've noticed you've been posting a lot more than you use to, aren't you the poster that had your name changed to Vince Carter? What was it before that? Just curious.

I am speechless after I read this post...

I guess you can't say that for Shaq and the Heat too. I am sure D. Wade can win more than 10 games for them in a whole season without Shaq in the lineup.

    20 and 10... 20 and 10... hmmm

Well, I know what the '20' is.. that's how many wins the Raps will have this year... but the '10'..? Hmm.. must be the number of season-ticket-holders in Toronto for their 'alleged' NBA team.

Listen dude. You put Yao on any team as crappy as the Raptors, he would probably average 30 points a night, but the team would be lucky to win 30 games.

You keep Bosh as your 'center', and we will happily take Yao and TMac and everyone else on this team that is going to win between 55 and 60 games this year, and contend for a championship. Meanwhile, Tornoto can stay home and enjoy yet another lottery selection halftime show during one of the Rox playoff games.

    snowmt01....man....i don't think you're gonna get it anyway...so don't try.

    Nero....

what i am saying...i guess i hav'nt made it clear .........is that if you take out Bosh from the Raps and Ming from the Rockets....who will win more games???...the rockets will with the number of Big men they still have!!!....the raps have sh*t all......that means Bosh means more to a team at the center postion than Ming does.......get it????
