The important thing is that we kill the Mavs in Dallas, plain and simple.

We might drop to a few elite teams, but I don't think we'll allow our team to get beat by crap teams.

I'm really surprised people are that optimistic here. If we come out of November over .500 we're sitting pretty IMHO.

Of course alot of us are excited. We are almost basically starting off right where we ended last season, very much like Indiana. Our super star is really a stud and really knows what he needs to do. Juwan Howard is playing again and we've also added Swift and Derek anderson to the mix that helped us go on a tear last season heading into the all star break and after when all the pieces were compiled. There is no reason why this team can't go in their and give each of those teams an @$$ woopin. Each and every one of those teams will need to bring it on against us this season because we are no longer a team just gelling we're a team ready to take on the world.

I'll agree with that. Especially since we beat the Mavs at Dallas. :D As a matter of fact, I'd be happy with 1-14 if we win at Dallas.

we`ve got Tmac Yao and Stromile show coming to a town near you... and we`re gonna whooop up on most of these teams, now that we have the athletes, the chemistry, the coach, the defense. The only unproven commodity is the shooters, ( Wesley ) if he is healed 100% and can shoot ~40% at the 3 mark, I think that would spread the court for MJ, TMac, Yao, and Stromile / Juwon to do their work. wow, cant wait. Bring November ON!

Our big letdown games- the opener against Sac and the Minny game. Our big "underplayed" game- San Antionio.

9-6 maybe 10-5...I could see 10-5 if chemistry is good from the get go..

I'll go with 9-6 as a worst case scenario. Though, with that brutal of a schedule, 9-6 wouldn't be something to hang your head about. Let's just hope they don't get off to the start they did last year

Calm down people. In the first month, teams give their newbies a TON of playing time and see how their new team chemistries work. The games will still be soft. Not much to write home about.

we aren't gonna lose to Dallas, fo sho, they are alot worse this year than last year, miami, we can beat them, we did last year, and we have improved as well as they have, so we have to wait and see, the other two predications could be right
