I think this could be a nice Defense for us. . . The only problem
is it means almost no pass rush unless u come with Blitzes

Do you think we would be better moving to a 4-3
it IMO is vunerable to short passing routes. . . but
it is stronger against the run

If you mean right now, no, they don't have the right players for the 4-3 right now anyway.

In the future, depends on the coach. Really you can kind of scrap the system after this year if you want because they don't have all that much talent for the 3-4 either. Babin might be better as a DE in a 4-3. Johnson should be okay as a dt. Walker, who cares.

The lbs are a mess and not all that great. Not really 4 good ones. They have enough to get a good 3lb core I think.

Bring in a few fas or good rookies, and a switch to a 4-3 shouldn't be that hard.

I like the 3-4 better because of speed + unpredictability as far as blitzes, but you have to tailor the d to the players that you have on the field.

I like the 46 defense. It's seems like a winner no matter who uses it.

If you have the d-line, the 4-3 Cover 2 defense works pretty good. You need to be able to defend the run and pressure the quarterback with the front 4 though.

    These are biggest things
Pressure the QB and spot the run

You can have a SH*TTY secondary If you do those two things

The 3-4 defense has been the trendy thing since the Patriots started a few years ago. Unfortunately, I think we might be better with the 4-3.

We dont have 4 good linebackers. We should at least try using Travis Johnson and a 4-3 might allow that. Furthermore, I think it might put a little more pressure on the run. Our linebackers are doing a bad job of rushing the passer so maybe a change might do some good.

Its not something we can implement this year but maybe next year. The one thing that pisses me off if they do this is that the main objection to drafting Derrick Johnson was that he was a guy who came from the 4-3 and he supposedly couldnt handle the 3-4. It'll piss me off if we switch and travis johnson turns out to be a bust.

That's what I use in Madden w/ the Texans. Kicking serious ass w/ the #1 defense. Offense, just like in reality, have to work on....

Hey i use the texans online 2 playstation. Dante is tha ****, p. burn not so much lol. I love using mr speed (J. Mathis) vs a safety. Get him one on one its over! I go to him for the big play cause most people know about Andre and a second corner is still pretty good.
