Computer Help: What do I need to download?

    I just reinstall my window, but when i'm browsing some sites (exp. friendster) I cant see some of the pictures. It'll be just a box with an X mark on top of it.

    I've seen this before but forgot what I need to do to be able to see the pictures?

    Can someone help. thanks,

    If you are using IE go to Tools->Internet Options->Advanced and make sure the box to show pictures is checked.

    Somebody told me to install Flash but I think I've install that already ... well let me try.

    I can see pictures in Yahoo and 90% of websites but just a few I can't I'll see a picture boxes with x on top.

    Some pictures are no longer at the hosting site, so you will get a x. Check out some of the picture links in this bbs.

    The pictures are surpose to be there because when I use any other computer in the house I'll see them. I just install flash and is still the same thing.

    At least Mozilla issues patches. :p There's a fresh IE flaw in the news today. Hopefully, Microsoft will release a patch for it next month. Of course, they still need to patch the flaw that they decided not to patch this month as well. I can't figure out how the Mozilla guys can come out with a patch in a matter of days, and Microsoft can't even get one ready for their one patch day of the month. It's probably Google's fault. They keep snagging the good programmers.
