My last couple of SpyBot checks have ended with a message that says "Error During Check" and stops the program. Does anyone know how to fix this?
There are some viruses that have been known to disable anti-spyware/anti-virus software. Try running it in safe mode. Also, you might try running another anti-spyware prog first and see if it doesn't get rid of whatever is disabling spybot.
Uninstalling, then reinstalling seems to have worked. Looks like I've got to keep my friends off the new laptop from now on, after reinstalling, SpyBot found alot of crap.
this crap started on me too, i just stopped using it, and have used adaware and the lil microsoft spyware thing till i can figure out a way to fixit.
