Or anyone know of any? We met this couple the second we stepped on the cruise and instantly became inseparable. So much so that they are wanting to move from St. Louis to Houston when he finishes chiropractor school in April. The only concern on their part is job-wise. He's got so many contacts lined up in his hometown so moving to Houston would be a big risk that they may not be willing to take since they're also about to have their first kid. So, does anyone know chiropractors that are looking for someone or would be interested in taking on someone for their clinic? He's already promised to be a Rockets fan. Thanks in advance.
You know, I've always thought that too, but these guys go through some grueling schooling. Kinda like Kenyon Dooling. Sorry. My wife has also slept like a baby for the first time in nearly three years after he adjusted her (keep the jokes to yourselves ) a couple of times on the cruise.
I figured that was a big part of your interest. It would be terrific to have a good friend who was a chiropractor or a massage therapist. I've been seeing a chiropractor in Austin, who was recommended to me by an MD, for over 10 years. He's a great guy, but we're not friends socially. He's made a good living off me! Good luck, RM95.
I have a brother and brother-in-law that are chiropractors, but neither of them live in the Houston area. They both attended school there, however, so I'll see if they have any friends who might be interested.
Wow, I even point out that it's easy to make jokes and you still do. Must be a Monday. I expect better and funnier later this week.
I previously would see a chiropractor once a month, but the office visit payment on my insurance went from 15 to 30 bucks. Now I only go when I need to.
I think it's a testament of my comedy standards that even though I know I won't get it, I still expect it after 23,000+ posts.
For what it's worth, my brother suggested getting in touch with the Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena. He said they have job postings there all the time. I'm not sure what kind of experience your friend has, but it's probably worth checking out. He was supposed to get back to me with the phone number, but I'm sure you could just look it up in the phone book. That's probably not a great solution, but it might be a place to start. (if he hasn't already)
We're all thinking it. How could we not? First thing they did when they stepped on the cruise ship was picked up... another couple. I know it will be easier when it's not a long-distance relationship. You will be able to share great experiences, like you did on your vacation, and enjoy each other's... presence. Friends that sleep together keep together. Share and share alike. (And, yes, this all occurred to me after reading the first post alone.)
