I got your back. I'll be cheering for this team through the highs and lows. Capers has never shown the new stuff, before the 1st game of the season. Im hoping that Travis Johnson turns out to be the player they scouted. I fear that Mathis is going to continue to have hamstring problems. The OL is always the question, but Carr's mistakes didn't appear to be the OL - IMO. If the OL allows Carr to get his throw off, and DD provides the punch, I don't see why we can't feel optimistic. The key to the defense is the pass rush (Babin and Peek) and Bucannan's potential cover skills. I think the Bills will attack C.C. in the middle. Go Texans
With a rookie QB? Im not so sure. Expect a heavy dose of Willis McGahee, and mabye one or two shots down the field to keep the Texans D honest. The Bill's have publicly said that they intend to lighten the load tremendously on Losman especially in his first NFL start. The key will be which defense can stop the run, and the game could most definately come down to a turnover or big defensive/special teams play. The Texans might try to throw a few deep to AJ on Clements, who has a injured shoulder, which could slow him down a bit.
We'll hold you to that... I know you're just frustrated with the lack of off-season improvement on the OL. I too don't think that we can make the playoffs this year. I'd be pleasantly surprised with an 8-8 record, but not shocked if we finish 7-9 again. But with all of the logical, impartial predictions now laid aside, it's time for the season to begin, and time for me to start thinking with my heart: We're going to the Super Bowl this year baby!!!!! GO TEXANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bucannon is already making me nervous... I thought we were getting a semi-shutdown corner. I guess we'll see. BTW, love your sig RocketFan007
That's now 4 offsides penalties. EDIT: At least we're stopping the run... Buffalo should probably just air it out every single time.
The way the Bills are playing we should be down 14-0. I'll take 0-6 any day to start the game the way our defense looks.
Yeah, I've never been able to decide who's worse Chris Palmer or Greg Davis. Man, we're looking stellar right now.
