Well, using 4 4's (ie. 4 + 4 - 4 - 4), would it be possible to make them come out with 10? You may only use addition (+), subtraction (-), multiplication (x), and division. You may NOT use powers, negatives, square roots, ANYTHING aside from those 4 basic processes. ------------------
try this (((4+4+4)*4)-4-4)/4 That should work CK ------------------ CC.Net Sim Homepage For stats, standings and team information.
Castor, You can only use 4 4s. ------------------ ~John~ Help keep the obsessed thread alive post the reasons why you are an obsessed Rockets fan by clicking here
OK what about this (44-4)/4 That equals 10 and only uses 4 4's CK ------------------ CC.Net Sim Homepage For stats, standings and team information.
See JohnyRockets post above ------------------ CC.Net Sim Homepage For stats, standings and team information.
Iron McFist are you allowed to combine them the way castor did? If not I think its impossible. I can do it with 5 though: ((4*4)-4)/4)+4 = 10. ------------------ ~John~ Help keep the obsessed thread alive post the reasons why you are an obsessed Rockets fan by clicking here
4 5's can come out to ten ------------------ ~John~ Help keep the obsessed thread alive post the reasons why you are an obsessed Rockets fan by clicking here
Johny I believe your post above is 7. 4*4=16 - 4 =12 /4 =3 +4 =7 Actually with 5 4's you could do it this way. ((4+4)/4)+4+4=10 ------------------ CC.Net Sim Homepage For stats, standings and team information.
