I hope this "finding a replacement for a dead musician" idea doesn't become a trend. Right now it's just INXS and TLC, but before you know it, Nirvana will be looking for a new singer, Led Zeppelin will be looking for a new drummer, The Clash will be looking for a new frontman, Paul and Ringo will be looking for two more Beatles, Milli will be looking for another Vanilli (or was it the other way around?), and the Rolling Stones will be looking for a new guitarist...oh, that's right...Keith Richards isn't dead yet...

INXS has been a non factor for years, this will probably revive their career as a band, and generate revenue for all of them.

It is a brilliant idea, and I am enjoying the live show each week......

Why is that strange? It's a genius move by them. Getting your songs played and your name mentioned on national TV constantly can only help your career. I'm sure their back catalogue sales are soaring right now. The longer this drags on, the better it is for them.

There is no question it was a brilliant move for INXS. No questioning that.

It is strange because one would think lowering oneself to the level of a joke which is what reality shows are, would be bad for a career. If I want to be good, I'm not going to look at a reality show to increase my credibility any.

To be fair, INXS wasn't exactly a groundbreaking band when they came out. It isn't like they had much credibility to begin with.

Perhaps it would have been easier if you just included the link of your last rant on this. Some of us aren't musicians and see entertainment value in it. Of course it's not for everyone. Don't get me wrong. I agree with you in some ways, but there are a fews shows that aren't that bad.

    Well.....

Finally they got rid of Jordesh....she is good, but not right for Inxs....

I think it comes down to Marty, JD, and Mig......

JD I think fits the best...but you never know.

    Johdus,

I'm sorrry, but yuh just not ruight for ow band, IN-X-S.

I liked the original song she did. I thought it sounded a little Austin rock, which I love.

Every week, I go from Mig to Marty to JD. Any given week, somebody could get kicked off.

JD did well this week and he sung Mystify very well.

Was dissapointed to see Jordis go before JD.

Mig has been the stand out for me so far, Suzie is great yet I just can't see a woman leading INXS.

Let the Aussie boy front the band I say :p

JD could win. He's and ass, but he may have the best voice for Inxs.

Marty is the best talent and should be the most succesful. Jordis and Suzie both need to sing a different type of music. Mig is good, but his voice is uninspiring.

I think JD fits the band and is the best showman out there....Mig is just a nice guy but hardly seems to have star quality.....Marty....he screams a lot, but there are times he is amazing......that Trees song....wow.

At first I thought that Marty was the best, fit but now lean towards JD.

JD would go to bed with these guys.

I like all the singers left, but I really can't picture any of them being right for INXS

True - They're too young even though most of them are in their 30's.

One of the INXS members mentioned that the house band was a great house band. As a musician, would you take offense to that? Would it have been better to say that the house band are talented musicians?

I may have read to much into it.

Marty seems more fit to be in a Everclear/Foo Fighter grunge type band.
Susie's voice drives me crazy...to me her voice is too sterotypical.
Jordesh seemed emotionally drained last nite, like she didn't want to be there anymore.

It's between Mig and JD...JD "sounds" most like INXS, but maybe that's the reason why he shouldn't be chosen to front them...maybe it's time to go for the next step and just sound different...who knows.

    Well,

It is down to the final 3....

Mig - the musical theater guy
    Marty - the screamer
    JD - The brooder

They all would be great fronting INXS, but for my money, JD would drive them to new and greater heights.
