i HAVE TO AGREE WITH MOST EVERYONE 1. T MAC 2. BARRY 3. MING 4. HOWARD 5. JAMES 6. DA NOBODY ELSE SHOULD HAVE THEIR GRUBBY LITTLE FINGERS ON THE BALL AT ALL.
What are you talking about? We are CLUTCHCITY. Everyone is clutch. Even Moochie hit a few clutch shots for us in those days when he was our second best PG. (Thank God those days are gone! )
I think Mike James is being over looked a lot and he has probably shown the most heart when taking the big shot while T-Mac was resting on the bench... He's hit clutch 3's and an assortment of other big shots... T-Mac and Yao are not SHooting the ball it has to Mike James or Jon Barry! No Joke - No Smoke!
well what if we were to need a 3pt shot to tie? I was just watching the Double clutch and clutchcity videos and man those role players we had were just totally CLUTCH! I hope our players now can do those things.
Eddie Johnson!!! That Elie moment was great, but E.J.'s shot against the Jazz is one for the ages. Oh, this is about current players. Other than Yao and T-Mac, Sura and Barry have been there. But don't forget about James.
Excuse me on my youth and stupidity, but, can I see this clip? I'm not sure I have any idea what you all are talking about. I know the kiss of death. That was maybe the clutchest thing ever. But I know not of this Eddie Johnson moment of which you speak (or I just don't remember). Sorry for the youthful stupidity. As for my list: 1.) T-Mac 2.) Barry or Sura (don't mess with the token white guys on a championship calibur team!) 3.) Yao 4.) Mike James 5.) DA/Wesly 6.)Fan in seat 32 G..... 1,321,123,548,487.) Cookie Monster or Bowen
I have a feeling we'll be seeing alot of close games this coming season especially when we play other contenders like the Spurs and the Heat. When and if it does I am sure it will be an issue.
It depends on if you need a 3. If you need 2, Yao If you need 3, Sura IMO - Barry is a rhythm shooter. Sure he could hit the clutch shot, but he usually comes off the bench. To me, Barry is someone who comes off the bench in the 3rd quarter and knocks down 4-5 3-pointers.
The "Oh, Mother!" shot! I had about 12 people in my living room watching the game and when Eddie let that dagger fly, half of them (including me) spilled their drinks leaping in the air from shock and joy. I didn't care. One of my all-time favorites Rockets moments. And to have it happen against the hated Jazz made it just that much better.
^ Something I haven't heard aybody say about the EJ shot; he had an amazingly fast release. When the ball was passed to Maloney time was all but expired. 99% of NBA players would not have had enough time to even get a shot off.
