i am skeptical of this being a legitimate dvd because of a few reasons. a) its pal, not that there is a problem with that but generally a lot of bootlegs tend to be pal because they come from overseas b)there is only a "dolby digital 2.0" track. pretty much any movie filmed now and screened in theaters has a dd 5.1 audio track to it. I would be really shocked to learn that this movie wasnt mixed in 5.1 c) its a dvd-5 disc. While its not a long movie (84 min) its really surprising for a movie to be able to fit on a dvd-5 disc. Most dvds are not dvd-5 d) there are no mention of any extras on the disc. I would believe that they would put some sort of extras in it like the lines to see the movie or the screening in Denver all star weekend or something. e) the site says its full screen all the trailers i've seen for this movie have been widescreen. it makes no sense for the trailers to be widescreen if the movie is full screen. f)amazon does not have this dvd for sale nor does it have a potential release date. Now i have yet to see this movie cuz it wasnt shown in the area around here but i heard from a friend it was playing for like 2 weeks nearby but i was too busy to go see it. But from the reason above I personally would not risk ordering it because it more than likely is the bootleg cam that was done and someone just put it on dvd. just my .02
I'll wait for the legit release. It was distributed theatrically by Warner/New Line who always do a great job with their DVDs.
i agree, this is NOT an official release from Fine Line/New Line/Warner Brothers. I will wait in which I can probably bet it will be released before the season starts.
just checked Fine Line's site....no mention of a DVD release. They claim to post news about when a movie comes out on DVD on their site...and it isnt there. So..I would imagine this is bootleg.
Yeah, I would always double check those kind of things. I'm waiting for the offical release as well. Who knows, you might get lucky and get a good bootleg
