Whoa, thanks dudes! I turned 25 today, so I'm a quarter-century man. Or so I've been told about 70 times today! I spent the day getting trained for relief efforts at Second Baptist Church (Coo-ooome Hooo-ooome...) to do some volunteering with the Red Cross. I've been between jobs for over a month after getting dumped from my job in Galveston, so I have plenty of time to donate at the moment, but no money! The images from insides the Astrodome have been so surreal though, I can't wait to pitch in whatever I can. Nice to see a shout-out on my favorite website, especially since I'm not one of the more noted members. 2K, I know we're all looking forward to your patented highlight reels again this season, so you better not be considering b****ing out on us!

Well, I was always intrigued by the idea of the Dome being turned into an indoor city... I'd be remiss not to check it out now that it's happened. Seriously though, I've partied in the Quarter just as everyone should at least once. It's tough to imagine that city just... gone. Someone has to start educating these 30,000 new Houstonians about the NBA's awesomest team immediately.
