it's a good feeling to see Stoops lose but, as a former longhorn, i'll wait until the Red River Shootout to gloat any further. If UT wins this year, all bets are off.

The question is... does it hurt us that OU will be going into the RRS with a low ranking? Does it hurt our MNC aspirations? (This is assuming we beat tOSU, which is no gimme, of course).

Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't.

It helps because maybe we won't be so scared going in. They're more than beatable and hopefully Greg Davis will come out of the fetal position like Henry Winkler in the Waterboy.

Since we started the year off ranked so high, if we win, we'll be there no matter what our opponents do.

Fantastic freakin win for the Horned Frogs. For years the purple and white was getting no respect because of their "weak" schedule (which was true to an extent). This should shut up a few people for awhile. TCU's program is up-and-coming and this win was the coming out party.

    LUV THOSE FROGS

Didn't he go to OU because he was guaranteed a starting job? He didnt want to be the #2 back to Cedric last year...When Selvin got hurt last year, we coulda really used Adrian as our #2 back, and he could have been along for the ride to a Rose Bowl victory...this year he would have been our #1 guy with S. Young/Charles/Melton backin him up, giving him rest when he needs it...oh well, he's getting what he signed up for, a lot of hype...

Melton looked good out there today, runnin over guys left and right

Um, I think Adrian would have chosen to play for the national championship like he did last year vs. a victory at the Rose Bowl any day of the week.

    It was ...it was.

    Until now!

The party has ended, all people have left. BUT!

Some one actually went into the fridge and stole the remaining 15 or so burgers, 4 lbs of Brisket, and 3 lbs of sausage. !

Seriously, who in the hell goes into your fridge and steals your "left overs"?

Well, we spent around $300 for this party tonight. It was loads of fun. Too bad some suckas decided to end the night on a bad note. We didn't notice the missing food till it became time for a late night snack. !

117 Karten. All are welcome. Next party TBD.

Dude... How many times have you thrown a party? That stuff happens ALL the time. People get intoxicated, then hungry.

Yeah, you thing he preferred getting embarrassed in the National Championship to winning a BCS game? Plus...now he has all the weight put on his shoulders as the best player at OU, and has to carry the team. He could've been relaxing and playing with a great offense at UT...

Do you think he preferred winning the Big 12 title than being a b**** in October?

I'm just going on the last image he has in his mind from last season...getting crushed 55-19 in the last game of his freshman season...Back to this season, you think he'll live up to the hype of a Heisman candidate and carry his team to a typical OU season?

Its not just your QBs, your OL line is horrible. If Peterson can't get your yards on TCU, you guys are in for a long season. The team is just too young and having too much turnover.

LOL at you guys having a defensive player named Latimer. Like in "The Program".

Anyway I'll celebrate when UT finally wins one up in D-Town in October.

The only bad thing about seeing OU losing is that the value of the UT-OU tickets is going to go down now, less money for me :(

I guess playing for the national championship pales in comparison to getting to the Rose Bowl through the back door and winning by one point.
