It doesnt have to. Its not like you see the Brazillian soccer team play and you say "I wonder how many corpses they ate before the game?" This is not unprecedented if its true, and it has nothing to do with race. Anyone can be starving to death.

Violence and civil unrest # Brown: I've had no reports of unrest, if the connotation of the word unrest means that people are beginning to riot, or you know, they're banging on walls and screaming and hollering or burning tires or whatever. Based on Grizzled's posts, I'm all for handing over all of our disaster relief management to the Canadians.
Per www.nola.com : Lt. Gen. Carl Strock, commander of the Army Corps of Engineers, said engineers are developing a plan to create new breaches in the levees so that a combination of pumping and the effects of gravity will drain the water out of the city. Removing the floodwaters will take weeks, he said.
I hope athletes go in favor of Deion Sanders, he is calling for all athletes in the NFL, NBA, and MLB to donate at least $1000 each. It would be better if they did what Warrick Dunn was asking and donate $5000 each. Hopefully they'll all pitch in.
