This isn't exactly what I had in mind for my suggestion of getting the "inside" details of the team. But it's good to put a face with the name. :D

Shooter, keep 'em coming. Anything with an "inside look" is what the site should be aiming for. Video or text articles. Fans want to know more about the players. The more the fans know, the more they care....and the more they may be willing to shell out money to go to the games..... wink, wink. ;)

Lindsey refers to Murph as someone he was proud to grow up with.. If true why did he give Murph the boot? If the interviewer had any guts at all he would have asked that.

 get ur facts straight kid...murphys firing was handled by the broadcasting department...lindsey only deals with players and such, not any other part of the staff...murphy was not involved with the basketball operations aspect of basketball, which lindsey is...

Specifically it was Tad Brown and his marketing cohorts. I guess it would have been rocking the boat for VP Lindsey speak out for his longtime friend Calvin Murphy.

Hey Shooter this getting started in the right direction..

but I think people closer to the game would make for more interesting reads..

    some ideas.

Stromile Swift has family in LA you might want to touchbase with him and see how he is doing.

Talk to some of the players about their expectations for the coming year.. I know alot of it will be fluff but during the offseason any news is good news. Alot of the players are training in Houston so it shouldnt that hard to get ahold of them.

Any interview with JVG is good.. but asking the right questions thats key.

How about a profile about some of our players or interesting things no one knows about them.. etc. etc.

JVG is very overprotective of his players and has strict limits on media accessibility with them...so therefore its hard to get exclusives...the rockets try to do what they can with what they're given...
