Going to Vegas

    I'll be there from Sept. 7 to Sept. 11 (yeah, my flight back will actually be on Sept. 11...). Any other Clutch BBS members going to be there during that time?

    Is there some holiday weekend or something? Seems like hotels are pretty full...still not sure where I'll stay from the 9th to the 11th. I'm a hotel points w****, so I'll go for something SPG or HH...doesn't leave too many choices, I guess...

    Well this coming w/e is Labor Day weekend....could be that some are also taking a few more days off and making a full week vacation out of it......have a great trip...

    That weekend is when the AVP (volleyball) tour is coming to Vegas. It's at the HArd Rock actually.

    It's also the opening weekend of the NFL season. I'm sure a lot of people are going just for that.

    OMG!! The SJC will be here! I don't what to say.
    As Harrisment pointed out, the first weekend of the NFL is always packed. The only other times of the year people come specifically for sporting events en masse are Super Bowl and March Madness.
    SJC, I work at the Excalibur Race and Sports book. Do me a favor and stop by, I would really like to meet you. You can e-mail if you need any info on anything else. Wow, I can't wait.

    Cool. So how do I find/recognize you? I'll stay at three different hotels during those 4 days, one of which is the Aladdin - I guess not too far from the Excalibur?
