[Video] China vs Iceland (yao's 2nd game back from surgery)

    Here is the full 2nd game of the China vs Iceland exhibition series played this past tuesday. China wins the game 96-80. Both teams shoot lights out and it close throughout the game until the 2nd half. the quality of the video isn't the best but it is very watchable, esp. during this offseason.

    Yao Ming played 22 minutes, 15 points (6/11 FG%), 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 fouls and 3 turnovers. He did look rusty but its just his second game back since the ankle surgery but whenever he did score, it was done easily. it almost seemed like he wasn't playing with full power but he didn't even need to play hard as his teammates stepped up and nailed jumpers from all over the court.

    Yi Jianlian, who some scouts think he will be the next player out of china, had a good game also with 17pts and 5 rebounds. He also had three highlight reel dunks that included 2 nasty facials and an alley-oop. This kid is probably the most athletic player on the team and could be scary if he puts on more muscle and develop his game better. i think he is only 18 or 19 so he still has a lot of time to improve.

    the game itself is worth the download. both teams put on a great shooting display hitting 3s right after each other. i hope yall enjoy the game as its nice to see how our star player is doing during the offseason. i will try to get the games from the Asian Championship that run September 8 - 16 and post them here so look out for those in a couple of weeks.

    two of the yi jianlian dunks are in the 2nd Q and the other is in the 3rd Q.

    thanks a lot lil-vic. but is there some trick i dont know of to download the files? each time i click on the link it only plays online and doesnt give me the choice of downloading. :confused:

    Thanks for the download, lil-vic. Is anyone having trouble downloading it fully? I keep getting cut off at 62% or even shorter.

    I'm not getting any more than 12 MB on any of the downloads. Maybe someone who got them all can up them to yousendit.

    well since u guys are having trouble downloading, i'll reupload it on yousendit or something. i tried using a new site to upload because it looked good but i guess it isn't stable.

    hey wireonfire, where did u find those? also, if u know anywhere on those chinese sites that have streaming games online, let me know so i can capture those. oh yeah, i'm uploading the game to yousendit so whoever didn't get a chance to download, gets their chance now.

    Man, sometimes NBA players can get a little obsessed with the 3pt. shot, but these guys, when it's not going into Yao, they live and die on the 3pt. line.

    :eek: :eek: Someone send a secret message to him, tell him to declare that he will ONLY play for the Rockets and noone else. hell Yao should tell him. Move Swift or him to the SF spot, whoeevr is faster.
