What's funny is that I gave up drinking COFFEE two weeks ago and I am still the same. GOOGLE, man! SEARCH buton above! HelloOooOoo...
I'm sharing an apt with a Mav fan... does League Pass get you all NBA games? Or do you like pick a team and just get those?
No, you get all games technically. Except stuff that's nationally televised and games that are on NBA TV which is another channel. I know in the past some services carried NBA TV and others did not, so you'd miss out on any games on that station if your service didn't happen to carry it. By the way, I hear that League Pass now has a NBA Stats channel or something that shows you stats of games/players or something. Is that true? Was that on there last year?
I belive that is a new feature that is going to be added. Not sure if it is at an extra charge. When i subscribed to the Sunday Ticket for the bar. They said they had 2 new channels one is like an all fantasy sports stat ticker and the other is like 8 games split screens going on simultaneously so if you have huge projection tvs you can have them all going at once on the screen. They did want to charge me an extra $500 bucks for those 2 or 3 channels of new features.
They gouge bars on all this stuff. I just got ESPN Gameplan (at home) and I am ready for some college Football!
Yeah tell me about it try like over 3000 for Sunday Ticket...imagine the prices for higher occupancy level places.
If I didn't live in Houston, I'd have it for sure. I'm just not sure how many games I'd actually sit and watch that didn't involve the Rockets. Rockets season is a full time job in and of itself.
Since I've permanently moved to Portland, I decide that I'll get the League Pass this year to follow the Rockets (and NBA in general). It costs about 25 bucks a month. That's the type of moneythat I usually just throw away on one night at any bar. I figure that if I get the league pass, I'll stay in a lot more and save that money easily.
Does NBA league pass have pre-season games? The schedule doesn't seem to be available on their website. I guess the bottom line is if it does I'll order today, whereas if it doesn't I'll procrastinate until Nov. 1
They show some preseason games but not all of them. Looking at directTV's program guide for tomorow it doesn't seem like the Rocket's game will be shown.
It's $169 for digital cable subscribers, too. I remember when the regular price was about $169 a couple of years ago... blah. http://www.indemand.com/sports/nba/index.jsp
whoa that's funny because i think i'd only watch the rockets games. you're lucky you get them for free.
Can someone help me. I am going to be stuck in Quito Ecuador for my job till January. Does anyone possibly know if I could get NBA League Pass down here??? I know its a long shot but if anyone could help me I would be very greatful.
If you live in Houston area, don't you get to watch all Rox games as long as you have the basic cable/satellite subscription? I remember when I lived in souther Cal years ago, if a Lakers game was not on national TV (TNT/TBS etc) then the local station (KCAL I believe) was sure to carry it. EDIT: never mind, just saw you live in Dallas, aka *hell*.
I tried to order it last week in Austin to beat the rush, they were not ready for the order yet...couldn't even enter it... Gonna try again right now....thanks for reminding me. DD
They're going to start billing me on my November bill. Got in w/ the renewal rate of $159! BRING ON THE ROCKETS!
