Why is this guy such a chump? It seems like at least 3 or 4 times a game, I hear, "dead ball. false start, number 69 offense." He also has difficulty blocking without grabbing a handful of jersey, hence the holding penalties on long running plays.

Does this guy really have talent or what? I remember we drafted him as a project, but instead he's started like every game for us so far. It just seems like he's having a really hard time adjusting to the NFL.

Casserly was really high on him before the draft. When it came down between him and Clinton Portis, the decision was made that Pitts had the higher upside and satisfied a harder to fill need.

Chester Pitts is a 1 man wrecking crew when it comes to blowing up big plays for the Texans. All I need to know is...20 yd run and flag on the field. 99% of the time, the next thing you will hear is "Holding" or "False Start #69, offense."

It's like freaking clockwork how the man single handedly blows up big plays. Death, taxes, and Chester Pits killing a big play are the only guarantees in a Texans fan's life.

Casserly outthinks himself way too often. He's made some absolutely bizarre draft picks, which have caused us lots of depth issues. Portis was a no-brainer at the time, and Pitts was a huge reach that early.

Some of the more appalling draft picks:

    - using a 2nd rounder to take Tony Hollings in the supplemental draft
    - Bennie Joppru in the 2nd round
    - Seth Wand
    - Dave Ragone in the 3rd round

To Casserly's credit, he did strike gold with Domanick Davis and Dunta Robinson. Unfortunately, he has completely ignored our issues on the O-line, and we're left with a bunch of 2nd teamers starting.
