I am relatively new to PC gaming. At least, the kind of gaming where you need to have a controller. I am going to buy a joystick, but I want to make sure I don't buy one that anyone with two brain cells to rub together would know is a crappy product. I have $40 to spend. What model(s) are good? Anyone? Bueller? Bueller?
http://gamespot.com/gamespot/misc/mags/ (go to Hardware section) http://www.gamesdomain.com/gdreview/harawards.html (has a list of recommended hardware including joysticks) I have a Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pro that I like, but rarely use. I only bought it to play Mechwarrior 4. Microsoft usually has some $20 off mail-in rebate deal on their joysticks, too, so that may bring the price down some. ------------------ My company declared Chapter 11 bankruptcy, then agreed to merge with another company, which also declared for Chapter 11 bankruptcy... should I be worried?
I got 'chur joystick right here buddy. Sorry, couldn't resist. Epinions recommends the Microsoft Sidewinder Precision Pros as their number one favorite. The Precision 2 replaces it, and it's supposed to be even better. You can get it at www.buy.com for around $40. ------------------ stop posting my damn signature
