On one side you release the hate, revenge, anger and spite towards the person.

On the other side you find out if you can rebuild trust which would offer an opportunity to rebuild a relationship.

For your sake you must forgive her pain she caused you and let go of any anger and revenge.

For the sake of your future you must be careful not to 'blindly' trust her, she must earn your trust. You have to be a wise judge of motives to know if she has genuinely changed and she can be trusted.

Don't trust someone who has not earned your trust.
