We won a single game, but it was only a best of 5 series, Lakers won 3-1.

Weird, I thought the same.. wasn't that year the first year that the first round went to a 7-game series format?

It's there, it says the Rockets fell in four games. We fell in 5 games, and if a few shots had gone in, we would've won the series.

Despite putting forth a tough and competitive series, the Rockets fell in five games. Yet the season was far from a disappointment as the Rockets established themselves in the league as a stifling defensive team who played smart and committed themselves to winning.

Sorry, my bad. I knew we only won 1 game. Maybe I was thinking of the series against the Lakers in Cat's first year.

The 98-99 Series. thats whene Pippen started blaming Barkely for the series lost. pippen probal had his best game in the final game of that series. he had 37 points 15 boards and 6 assists.

That was actually the 3rd game of that series, and the only game that we won of that series. I remember that curly-haired freak Rick Fox made him fall on his back, and Pippen wasn't the same in the series after that play.
