If they wanted to trade Moochie and Vin for Kandi, SOLD. But I agree that Wesley is our starting SG. I don't see it.

Bingo! You beat me to it. Mooch and Vin and a free roster spot would be about right, Kandi takes Vin's spot on the bench. We bring in Lonnie Baxter, Spree or the PG from Summer League on the cheap, whatever JVG feels will plug our hole best.

After thinking about it, Kandi is worthless and I don't want him near a Rockets roster. I'd take Baker sitting on the bench before going after the lazy, useless and unmotivated Kandi Man.

Kandi Man has a tendacy to live down to his name. For that reason, we need to forget about him. I'd rather do a 2 (Moochie, CW or VB) for 1 with the Bobcats for a bench warmer. That would free up a spot for Baxter to be our extra 4/5.

    Guards on our roster...

    Sura
    James
    Anderson
    Wesley
    Barry
    Head
    Ward
    Norris

    Forwards on our roster...
    TMac
    Spaz

    Bigs on our roster...
    Yao
    Deke
    Howard
    Swift
    Baker

Houston we have a problem. Baker is not servicable in any sense of the word and at no point do we want him on the floor. Of course... he is irregular heartbeat or injured foot away from playing a major role.

Head and Barry won't see any meaningful time whatsoever with our current roster. I for one...want Barry on the court. Love his energy, hustle and don't back down attitude. Head? Most of us proclaimed him a stud and have been lamenting ways to get him on the floor.

Wesley/Baker for Kandi gets this done.

Yes... Wesley is a much more valuable player than Kandi. But we have Barry's shooting and Head's defense to take his spot. DA will be starting anyway at the 2.

Kandi gives us much needed depth. We have to think big picture... if he doesn't play all year... good for us. That means that Howard's heart and Yao foul trouble and Deke's age aren't a problem. But if they are... we are in trouble.

Ummm. Yes, there is. The Rocks don't need him anyway though.

If you're telling me Kandi is "much needed depth", then so is Baker. They are warm bodies that do nothing. Kandia can't sub for JH because he can't play PF. For that reason, Baker is actually more valuable to us than Kandi. Supposedly Swift is our 3rd center anyway. We need a 3rd PF who can play garbage minutes.

Until DA and Head prove themselves on this team, we can't give away Wesley for nothing. If trading Wesley+ can bring us a rotation player in return, maybe do it.
