bigtexxx, when you ask someone to prove something and he/she does it , either by providing a link or offering a good-faithed explanation, you should at least acknowledge that person's effort, whether agreeing with it or not. Sorta like bring a closure to the debate on your part. If you keep disappearing, how would you expect other take your challenge (e.g. "Your credibility is on the line") seriously time and time again? I don't want to pile on you but I think it's just something you could have done easily to dispel your opponents' 'bias' towards you.
well said. texxx has yet to acknowledge a debate we had earlier in the week in his OWN THREAD when I very clearly demonstrated for him, per his usual MO of challenging my credibility, about the French workforce vs. American workforce. I doubt I'll ever respond to another of his vague challenges: "provide details or your credibility is on the line. Thanks in Advance" I only responded this time because it was so easy. As usual, his testicles shrunk up and couldn't admit, even partially, that I was right...and then he disappeared as usual.

Controversy sells guys, let's remember that. That's what Ann figured out long time ago, and that's what she is doing every chance she gets. The longer her name is in the news, the more books she sells, the more she will be invited on "Hannity and Colmes" and other shows to attempt and 'explain' her views (as if there was any rationale to debate what she says to begin with!) Ann's hatred for NYC has nothing to do with the city or whatever, it's only because NYC is a Democratic stronghold, and that is enough for her to hate them and believe that they are "traitors" and unAmerican. She's actually pretty simple to figure out...

What you are looking for is some sort of "liberal succor for the enemy" so that you can call them enemy sympathisers. One can empathise with the enemy in order to understand them without sympathising with them. I think that many of them think of themselves as freedom fighters. If you watched the movie Independence Day did you storm out of the theater when Jeff Goldblum and Will Smith preformed what was a terrorist act against the aliens, because they couldn't fight with them fairly and ever win? Are you aware that it was always Ossama bin Laden's goal to goad the US into fighting a "jihad" in an Arab country? Do you have any idea why he would prefer to fight in an Arab country instead of the US?
