So i was reading something about Sam Cassell being unhappy with the Clippers. he has the same size contract as David Wesley and is only on the books for this one year. I think he is definately an upgrade at the point. We will have a glut, but no bad contracts. I know there has probably been talk about bringing him back here but a trade with the Clippers could be a possibility. He can't be traded for i think 60-90 days because he was already traded once this season.
not even for a 1 year push? we could send baker and ward and get him for the year and he is off the books. give head a chance to develop those PG skills in the NBDL and have spanillious
he would be nice to have but we would have to give up either sura or james to make room. sura is too important to our team, and if we give up james then we are left with two old, injured, PG's.
Sam would be great to get here. But the price will be to high. I mean didn't the Clips give up 2 first rounders and Jaric? I don't think they're giving him up for our junk.
I'll pass. We've got enough senior citizen backcourt players and we already have a shoot first point guard in Mike James.
