College baseball

    I am deffinately not a baseball fan, but the school I went to for the last 3 years is doing quite well this year.

    they have the nations HR leader, who is also top 5 in RBI(it fluctuates between games, sometimes he is #1)

    and the strikeout top 5 pitcher.

    their record is 27-14 and they are 9-0 in their confrence. yet in the polls they dont even get a single vote to be in the top 25
    their record is better than some of the ranked teams

    anyone ever heard of Stony Brook??

    Nope. That's probably why their not in the top 25. The competition doesn't help either. There's an obvious pattern among the ranked. Most ranked teams are of the big schools(Stanford, LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Texas) or the baseball schools(Witchita State, Cal. St. Fullerton, etc.)

    Nope. That's probably why their not in the top 25. The competition doesn't help either. There's an obvious pattern among the ranked. Most ranked teams are of the big schools(Stanford, LSU, Miami, Nebraska, Texas) or the baseball schools(Wichita State, Cal. St. Fullerton, etc.) Granted, there are a few sleepers among the ranked.
