Slim Thug group in the neighborhood I grew up in right off of Homestead. It ain't upper middle class suburbia. Mike Jackson who also used to pitch for the Astros grew up in my hood.

I used to be a Mike Jones fan but not anymore...

He put on a concert here in Lubbock last weekend. Now I don't know a whole lot about concerts but I'm pretty sure they are supposed to last longer than 20 minutes. 18 Dollars for a 20 minute concert!. The opening act which was terrible lasted a miserable 2 hours. Than Mike Jokes finally comes along with his special guest slim thug who didnt say anything and performs like 20 songs in 20 minutes. Waste of money...

On a side note 2 live crew came up here 2 weeks prior and put on a heck of a show for half the price....

That's the only song he did that I ever liked.

I actually like a number of songs on Mike Jone's Cd.

One of my friends went to school with him too. He said he was rich as hell growing up. No more assuming that because someone is black and a rapper that they grew up in the "hood".

Mike Jones lives right next to my parents? I need to tell them, lol.

As far as Lil Flip, I met him at a party and he was totally cool and down-to-earth. Shaking everyone's hand and being very cordial. Taking time out to speak to everyone.

I used to see Paul Wall hangin' out in front of the UC at U of H all the time a few years ago. I assume he was a student there.

I'm pretty sure it was him thought because he's the only white guy I've ever seen with cornrows and fronts with a gaggle of bothers coming up and giving him props at all times. Seemed like a pretty real dude.

I love all Houston rappers. They're all great. Mike Jones is the worst lyrically, but I still really like his music.

I had never heard of Deep before, but listening to the tracks on the website sounds like he has a good future in the business. The beats are very good. Who makes the beats for Deep?

DEEP is my cousin. His beats are made by The Assasins (Jhiame).
