What's up guys, I'm so happy right now. Me and my wife found out on Saturday that she is pregnant, (our first child), and I'm so excited right now. What should a father-to-be expect from the child bearing mom throughout this process? I just want your thoughts because I have heard some horror stories from close friends about how the mom has crazy mood swings and could be a handful to deal with. Please chime in on this one.
These are the same responses that my buddies were telling me, so thanks guys because I thought they were just being jackasses and giving me a hard time. So hearing it from you guys assures me that they were right.
Cheetos at 3 am....milkshakes for breakfast....rubbing her back after the run for the Cheetos, etc. Enjoy!! But it's all worth it. Congrats!!!
great sex, after the morning sickness phase ends. and congratulations dude- there's nothing quite like it.
congrats. about the mood swings, it can happen, but it might not be so bad. Just try to be kind and selfless, just be sensative. Enjoy
Our first child, a boy, is due on Jan. 4. I can't wait...I am in the market for some Houston Rockets baby clothes It been almost 5 months, and it hasn't been bad. My wife had very mild mood swings, but she is pretty low key all of the time. She has had some weird cravings (carrots with mustard??), but nothing that frequent. Morning sickness was the biggest issue. Nothing like the sound of your wife throwing up at 6am to brighten your day. Congrats and best of luck...
congratulations. Here is the VooDooPope key to being a good parent and husband... Patience Best of luck to you and your wife.
Congratulations. I went through this twice already. Here's my approach: 4 more for the basketball team 10 more for the futbol/football team. I second this motion. Actually, I also did third it, fourth it... so on... you get the picture. You can have great sex even until the day before her water breaks. Your life as you know it is over. Don't take that the wrong way; I mean, it's all about your offspring from now on. Get ready! I have some Barney songs and nursery rhymes in my iPod library whenever you're ready.
Congrats. My wife didn't have any really big mood swings. My advice is for both of you to walk and get exercise. She'll be much better off for it if her legs and body are strong and it will also help her recovery.
