I could see us with a starting lineup that features Sura and DA both bringing the ball up and playing the PG. Sounds intriguing to me.

    Starters. Possibly:

    PG Sura
    SG Anderson
    SF McGrady
    PF Swift
    C Yao

Oh man, that's awesome. Going to go update my roster on NBA 2k5. Can't wait for 2k6, lol :D

And to top it off, Wesley, Barry, James and Motumbo all coming off the bench!

More than intriguing because Sura struggles to bring the ball up the court too much for my taste. If DA has real PG skills, I'm happy.

I don't think its appropriate for a GM to go on vacation in the middle of the season.

I know that he's tough and he hustles. And he really did help our team to start winning when he came back from injury.
But I don't like how he can't guard/keep up with some point guards.

I'd rather have another point, but Sura does a lot and is okay.

IMO, you want DA to come off the bench mainly as a SF, while playing limited minutes at the point or the 2 just to mix it up a bit and match up with teams when necessary. IMO, you need to leave some scorers on the bench so that when the 2nd unit comes in, we would have good shooters/scorers combined with Deke for a good balanced lineup.

Still, I just can't imagine that we aren't getting rid of one or more of our guards to free up minutes for the current 5-guard rotation; I am not even going to mention Ward or Moochie as part of the roster, they will just ride the IL all season long until their contracts run out.

Great off-season for the Rox, now JVG can work some of his magic and get these guys to gel. I will accept nothing short of that same selfless spirit from last year's squad. I hope DA and Stro buy into the system and this team will be nothing short of spectacular.

I agree bringing DA off the bench.

    Rockets 2nd team.

    Deke/JHow/DA/Barry/James

Thats a very skilled 2nd team.

Yinka Dare is the internet handle of the mix creator. I'm reupping it now.

There's two things that stood out to me from the video.

    1. DA used to be really athletic.

    2. He does in fact have a pretty decent handle.

Hopefully his skills and athleticsm haven't degraded too much in the past couple of years. If he can even be half the player that he is in these clips then he'll be a very nice pick up. Anything more than that is pure gravy.

Whoa whoa whoa people, let's not get carried away. Berman may have reported it, but that doesn't make it official. Can someone find out if Bill Ingram has confirmed this yet!?!?!

Assuming they are all healthy, I think we will eventually see this lineup starting for the Rocks, after some gell time. Tall, fast, they can play awesome D, and you have some serious, serious firepower. That, and a terrific bench. Man, I can't believe it! Far better offseason than I imagined when it began. Wow! We would all like to see the Rocks with a tall, pure point that can play defense, but Rome wasn't built in a day. Hell, I feel like throwing a truckload of clichés out here tonight!

    Yes!

    And LA got leftovers! Beautiful!

I think DA is the tall, pure PG that can play some D. If he starts, and I think he will eventually, then he will be matched up against the tougher, quicker perimeter player, which will probably be the PG. Sura will be better off matched up against opposing SGs defensively. I can see them flip flopping maybe on offense with Sura running the 1 and Anderson the 2. But the good thing about Anderson is he is versatile. I really like the move. Wouldn't it be something if Anderson started skying like he did for the Cavs and Spurs? Maybe one or two more little tweaks and I think we will give the Spurs all they can handle this season.

Good news. If we are offering him LLE and 3 mil was offered elsewhere, it's a easy decision. Since he was waived, he only benifit half of the new salary as extra. Therefore between LLE and 3mil, it's only about 600k difference for him. We are a better siutation for him, and he gotta think life 2 years latter.
