What was pivotal could have been the Lakers ending negotiations with DA because they struck a deal with McKie instead.
Yeah on the radio here in LA on Friday they were saying that the Lakers were turning their attention to McKie because it was apparent that DA was not going to sign with them. That was before I saw the thread about the Lakers and Rockets being a coin flip so I was confused. I guess the people in LA knew he was going to the Rockets so they went after McKie.
Randy McIlvoy said he sources have also confirmed this. Said he was offered up to 3 million dollars more. The highlights they showed while talking about him looked good from what I seen.
NBC said it was a two year deal that will be signed Tuesday, when DA gets here from Atlanta. He can't come Monday cause it is his son's birthday - where's his priorities..........
He plays his ass off, both ends of the court, in a way that makes the rest of the team do the same. Did you not watch Rocket games last year.
lol.... his sources? meaning he watched Sports Xtra like the rest of us.. It wasnt in doubt...Berman had videotape of DA's agent saying that he would sign this week..it is a done deal. Dont need much better sources than that.
