So after all the hype that exists around RSS feeds on the internet these days, I decided to download a feed reader (I chose Pluck for no real reason...). Seriously, what's the big deal with these things? How are they better than just bookmarking sites in your browser and checking them daily? Do you use RSS feeds, and if so, which ones do you use and how do they help you?
yes I use RSS feeds.. I use the built in RSS thing in firefox and put those links on my bookmark toolbar I have: Chron - Rockets Page Engadget Slashdot Neowin BBC Headlines (default) Forbes ESPN
The main thing about the feeds is that they are getting increasingly good at pulling content specific to a certain topic. The more sophisticated they get, the less you will have to weed through tons of sources to read articles about the things that most interest you.
