Derek Anderson has his own baggage just like you have you and me have ours. He was criticized by his team and coach for not making a strong effort to rehab and get back with the team last year. when you're nearing 35 it's a safe bet youre gonna have some baggage. stop being a snob rocket fan.

Sprewell would be an absolute steal for the LLE. On top of that, what's to say DA wouldn't take the minimum if he wanted to come here? Money is low on the priority list for DA now, so we could possibly end up with both.

    BTW: Nice find, abrocketsfan.

Are you actually equating Sprewell's repeated violent tendencies with "not making a strong effort to rehab", on a terrible team that was going with the youth movement anyway?

There is only one question I have.........."Is Spree gonna have to choke a coach?"

I see a lot of people dont want either Spree or Anderson....WHY? Yes, they are similar to Wesley....but isnt that something we all want? A taller version of Wesley? He wasnt THAT bad last season and truth is, Spree and DA can probably score more then Wesley. They are both taller then Wesley, which means the Stackhouses of the NBA wont be posting them up. They are both pretty quick as well, and can score at least as much as Wesley did.

Also, Wesley has some trade value. Maybe we could package him with Baker/Ward/Mooch and get a back up SF.

Spree has never caused locker-room or chemistry problems...to my knowledge. He's always been hardworking and a pro on the court...with teammates.

Now, journalists, coaches (which JVG doesn't mind), or animal control...he's over the edge. But on the court...he's never been a problem...just the opposite.

First of all, Cassell is a pretty straight forward guy, who doesnt lie or gives bs.

Second, why is everyone hating on Latrell?
He's another great Alabama product that could come to the Rockets!

No. But to be fair i heard Sprewell just lost it when PJ got up in his face and he had to look right into that beard of his and it had spit and food particles in it. he should have been somewhere in nantucket with a pipe in his mouth with that grizzled hair on his face, not coaching a basketball team.

i sayy we try our best for Finley and Anderson....and if we cant get them...THEN our next best option is gonna be Sprewell. He is an upgrade over Wesley for sure...

I hear a lot of people wanting a solid 2/3 veteran that could spell Tracy and bring playoff experience, now we have a legitimate shot at landing one and now some don't want one(Sprewell)? What is that? He knows JVG's system and wants to win, he would be an excellent addition. I don't believe he will take minutes from JBarry since JBarry places 1/2, who knows we might see them on the court at the same time w/TMAC,Yao and Stro(or JHo). If JVG, CD and Les want and believe he brings value I'm all for it....Hell he might even throw in some rims just to play here :p

Spree is a cancer to any team. He's a greedy b*stard and won't accept the LLE or the MLE. We need to be more focused on getting Finley or DA.

How has Spree hurt a team he was on?

He's attacked a coach (who's never coached again and JVG wants him)
He's attacked management (in negotiating his contract)
    His dog attacked his daughter.

I've never heard a teammate say anything bad. How does that make him a cancer?
