Yeah, let's not endorse software downloads on a public website, k? If you think Creative Suite is expensive now, wait a year or so when Adobe integrates Dreamweaver, Flash and probably Contribute in with CS since they now own Macromedia. That will be one bad ass suite of titles, but it will probably cost more than the computer you need to run all of them.
our target market isn't the typical everyday user who needs to remove redeye from images or resize/crop some of them. We care about the professional creative users, to whom $1200 for CS2 is worth every penny.
if you're a university student you can get it for under 100 bux. get the education edition which is just about the same as the real one.
Would Photoshop be good for making banners and pictures for a web site? After changing computers Ive lost my graphics program and Im on the lookout for another.
YES, it's little brother ImageReady is the Web-graphic companion that does animations, it comes with Adobe PhotoShop since version 5. If you have the software to install the program you "lost"--and acquired it legally, of course--you can re-install it without any copyright infringements. Can I guess that it was Paint Shop Pro?
I cant remember what the old program I used was called but it was a pretty handy program. It was software that was already on my old computer when I bought it and Im not sure if I have the CD for it. Basically Im looking for a pragram for my web site.....and maybe a program that will let me make some simple animated graphics.
If you are a student you can get a deep discount at your University computing store. I bought MS Office 2003 and One Note yesterday for 30 bucks TOTAL.
