Just heard on 610 AM from Mark and Rich that the Rockets are working on a trade to bring Artest to the Rockets. They didn't get any details can anyone else confirm.
Did anyone else hear this? gonna a need a few people to confirm, whether a rumor or not. Also, your thread title is a bit final, wouldn't you say?

Didnt CD and Gundy say they value chemistry more than anything else. If this is true, they might have faith in our good citizens like Yao, Howard converting Artest with love and Yani!
Vince, are you even a Rockets fan?! And I would only have artest if malone was still in the league, and I would only play artest against his team, specifically when malone was on the court.

Here's his contract situation: 2005 - $6,500,000 2006 - $7,150,000 2007 - $7,800,000 2008 - $8,450,000 (Player Option) I would assume that Wesley and Sura or James is in this deal. I wonder how desparate Indiana is to get rid of Artest? Would be nice to get a good deal for him.
