I think Finley is coming to the Rockets in a trade tonight. CD saying there's going to be a big trade coming, our plethora of guards and expiring contracts (Wesley and Moochie or Ward), and the Maverick's desire to get something back for Finley is adding up, in my mind, to a trade tonight.

I forgot to mention that JH would have to be thrown in there too to make the salaries match.

If you're not crazy, you're definitely wrong.

And if you're not wrong, CD's definitely crazy.

I think we are the last team that Cuban would trade with.

When did CD say he was going to make a big trade? Why would the Mav's want to help us get better? I'll answer that.....they would not.

    Lock it up!

When has the phrase "big trade" come out of CD's mouth.

Scamper on over to the ESPN boards young buck.

You're crazy. Trading for Finley does not make us a better team. Signing him to the LLE is a different story.

If Finley comes to us in a big trade tonight. That means, we owe Finley 17 million each year over the next 3 years. I doubt CD would ever be smoking that big of a joint to do pull that off.

CD didn't say big trade, he said big move. Anyway, if you were the Mavs, would you rather get something in return (i.e. getting the contract of the books for the next 3 years at 16 mil per) and some players that could play some minutes, or waive him under amnesty and still have him count against the cap for the next three years?

Your mind doesn't add very well. Scamper back to RealGM or ESPN.

When did he ever say anything about a big move?

And of course the Mavs would send him to us for expiring contracts. We wouldn't want him and the $50 million left on his contract.

CD didn't say anything about a big move. He said a bowel movement is coming.

Yao has been constipated for a while.

Carl Dukes on 790 said that Finley was in town today talking to the Rockets.

Well in my mind you are wrong. There will be no trade.

CD said there are only a couple of 2-for-1 deals he is working on. it is possible nothing works out. IMO we won't cut anyone either.

I would bet that we start the season with this roster. around the trade deadline, we will be able to find good value for some of our ending contracts.

did doc not talk about a 4 for 1 trade?? this fits it to a T. i actually think this COULD happen, and then we use the amnesty clause on him after this season. to tell you the truth, its r****ded but BOLD.

Actually Doc said the opposite -- 2 for 1, not 4 for 1. And the amnesty clause is good for this season and this season only.
