Anybody here played the game, Black & White? It's a game from Peter Molyneux (Magic Carpet, Dungeon Keeper), where you play God. You try to convert villages to believe in you, by either being Good, or Evil. The choice is yours. You get to choose a creature, such as an ape, tiger, lion, etc., who does your earthly bidding, where you cannot. And, people... Don't take this the wrong way. I'm a devout Christian, so this game is all in good fun. I don't find it sacreligious, or anything. ------------------
I've read about the game in Wired and on Salon.com, but I haven't played it yet. It sounds like it might be an interesting game (though I am not much on games of any kind). ------------------ Houston Sports Board

I have played it a bit, interesting. As a game designer myself, I just don't get Molyneux style. I prefer a simpler interface etc... This game reminds me of a newer populace(sp). It is kind of fun though... However, if you like games try my new one...Conquest Frontier Wars, it is coming out soon. I was just asking if anybody has played it. Also, I just made it clear that I didn't find it sacreligious, or whatever. ------------------
I really want to play this -- I've heard so many good things about it. Personally, I just picked up "Slave Zero" for $5 at a Bargain Bin -- it's okay, but VERY redundant and it gets dull quickly. Anyhow, B+W looks great, but I can't afford it right now. ------------------ "Up and down, inside out, outside in, some you lose some you win" -- DMB -> "Sweet Up and Down"
