I was at Barnes and Noble the other day and noticed and a book caught my eye... Soul of the Game: Images and Voices of Street Basketball From what I read, it was an excellent book, with great photos of the great playgrounds all across the country, with a big emphasis on New York City, often regarded as having the best street ball anywhere...great for the true hoops fanatics like myself... Personally, I would LOVE to see some old footage of Kenny Smith or Stephon Marbury hoopin' at Rucker Park! ------------------ If you don't eat your meat, you can't have any pudding!!
Thanks train, I'll be sure to check it out. ------------------ Ceo of the Walt Williams fan club. Web site coming soon atheistalliance.org
i ordered the ball above all video from hoopstv. i was a little disappointed though, because it cost almost 20 bucks, and the video was pretty short. there's a lot of filler crap (some bad rap music, random shots of girls butts, and people who keep saying "THIS IS HOOPSTV.COM" but as for the actual basketball action, it was great. i wish there was more. some of the moves they got in there are truly amazing. and from what ive heard, the And1 mix tapes are pretty amazing also. i know for a fact you can buy them on ebay, im not sure about anywhere else. ------------------ people who are related dont have to look alike. my mom and dad dont resemble each other at all
Wanna read a great book about Stephon Marbury and 3 other street ballers from Coney Island? Read "The Last Shot" by Darcy Frey. EXCELLENT book if you haven't ever read it. I couldn't put it down... ------------------ "There are three kinds of lies: Lies, Damned Lies, and STATISTICS..." - Mark Twain -

I have to check out that book about marbury, he's one of my favorite players. ------------------ The whole world we travel with our thoughts, Finding nowhere anyone as precious as one's own self. Does anyone else have any suggestions of books in this area? I have read a couple, and thought they were great. ------------------ Never Underestimate the Heart of a Champion
