Funny that Jay Will's site ask the question What team would you like to see him play for?? Rockets are not even on the list. This guy will never be the same player he was. He is probably 2 seasons away from being ready to even compete in the NBA. He will always be hesitate to drive the lane and is a lousy FT shooter. Leave him be.
Oh yeah. He drops bombs that make you call for your moms. I hear he's had some heart problems, though. Might be a high risk sign. If he brings his boy Rumsfeld as a backup, we might do the deal, though.
Is there no way we can give him a tryout? Is there such a thing as a 10-day contract during training camp? I never was a capologist, certainly don't know the details of the new CBA-- does anyone know of a low-cost way for JVG and CD to see what this player can do?
Williams is definitely worth a gamble since we don't have a true point! I am happy with what we have, but bringing him along and developing him with out any pressure would probably be to our benefit! We can sign him for nothing and he'd be our 3rd or 4th option!
