Well, it finally happened. I'm sure I have said it on here before about my grandfather having liver cancer; he finally passed away on Saturday August 6, 2005. On Friday, I woke up to my grandmother calling me from the other room, only to see my grandfather bleeding from his mouth in large amounts. He was sitting on the bed, trying to talk and hold his head up. He could not and needed help. We think, at that time, he was having a stroke. He never opened up his eyes after that. We took him to a hospice hospital where he died almost 24 hours later. We buried him yesterday. He was the anchor of the family, the one everyone looked up to. He was like a father to me, as my father died when I was 5. He will be missed greatly. Please keep him in your prayers. Thank you.
That's tough tim, I'll keep you in my thoughts. I was also very close to my grandfather and remember how difficult it was when we lost him a few years ago. Hang in there.
My thoughts are with you. My Granddad passed away several years ago and it is still tough to think about.
my thoughts and prayers go out to you. He will live on in your memories, actions and children. No one truly dies they just move on.
+ You have my thoughts and prayers. Sorry for your loss. It sounds like he was a good man and will have lasting importance to you and your family.
