    Wanted to add:

Dee Snyder IS THE MAN!!!! on his morning show he talked about Joey. played an old interview he did with Joey, and really let the listeners get a feel for what the ramones ment to modern rock.

during his show he urged one of the other DJs to do a trubute as well(because DEEs show is not music, more talk) and later on, around lunch, they played an entire live album. it rocked. the live album was from their last tour(lala palousa) they did songs with guys loike Rancid, eddie Vedder and many more.

A great radio day however for all the wrong reasons. now I am looking forward to the behind the music. even though the MTV corp will never give guys like Joey respect when they are alive, at least there will be some now.

    PEACE

theres a great issue of Spin covering 25 years of Punk, sadly they speak of Joey's Cancer, and here I read this post the next day.

"Playing with Steve makes my job so much easier, "He's such a complete player. He has some great moves and shoots from the outside and in the post. We communicate well on the floor." - Hakeem Olajuwon

"It's great to have that inside-outside balance," Francis said. "We've tried to get that all season, with Hakeem and me clicking at the same time.

Saw U2 play in Portland the day Joey died and Bono dedicated the song "One" to him. Awesome moment.

The Rockets never lose, they just get outscored occasionally
