This board has been very helpful with advices and opinions, so I was wondering if you guys can help me out here.

What would be the best way to sue someone for $6350 for breach of contract. If I got a lawyer to sue for that amount, wont I have to pay like $2-3k in lawyer's fees? and end up with only $4k or less.

I was looking into filing it in civil court, but the max you can sue someone there is $5k not including court fees.

Are those my only options? I mean the guy runs out on me and try to screw me over and I have to take a lost for it? Is there any other options I can take to get my full amount back?

    Thanks,

see a lawyer. on breach of contract, you win back your attorneys' fees and court costs in most cases.
