The biggest need the last 2 seasons has been a formidable power forward. Someone who could score, rebound, play defense, and provide quickness. It was a treat watching what Yao could do with merely a solid power forward in Howard. What will Yao bring to the court now that he is being teamed up with the super athletic Swift is exciting to think about. And McGrady's assists could really look like that of all-star point guards :)

The Rockets have a solid bench from 1 to 5. And Wesley and Sura provided so much direction in the backcourt.

If the Rockets don't make another move, the Rockets could still be looking at as many as 60 wins.

I'd like for the Rockets to make a couple of moves; because, with the expiring contracts, this might be a last opportunity to add proven talent before Yao signs his max contract and takes up the remainder of the cap space.

We all are lucky that our management has done such a fantastic job of assembling the Rockets. They have been doing a great job, and I believe the JVG and CD duo are unstoppable.. ;) Adding Swift was icing on the cake, now all we need is the cherry on top..

    i'll just agree to disagree...

adding swift is a plus...but it far from makes our team complete or even think about winning 60 games. we still only have three ppl that can create their own shot on this team....t-mac, yao, and mike james. we need shooters and scorers at the 2 position. d-wes and bobby can't cut it.

    I completely agree.

    Swift is enough.....

But we can still get better.....chemistry is a very important consideration on anyone else we add.

I would prefer a PASS first PG, Maybe Spanolis is going to get here?

Some say we will excel. That will not happen-just win.

    This is the season.

Other than LLE and our free agent signings we have 2 and 3 positions left.....maybe?

    Additions through subtraction. Cap relief.

The sun always rises in the east and Bob....(or is that Bobby?) is looking forward. Pacing is everything.

Our test, big time, is if the layoff deal is relieved from suspension. If so, ALL changes. Really no point to this. Just need to make sure we don't get a stern warning again.

Fruition is an immediate export for the current fab 5. Not trying to be too pointed, too forward or guarded.

    Ming bling.

Let's tap the brakes here. It' s one thing to get excited, but let's not get carried away. Teams with Bob Sura and David Wesley as their starting backcourt don't win 60 games. To win 60 games, you need to stay healthy, and have a few guys have career years.

At least your hoping we are going to be dissapionted. I know you don't want to see Swift turn into a consistant all star after being so inconsistant in Memphis.

Well 60 wins does seem a stretch. But we did win 51 games last year with Wesley coming over in December and James in February. With the addition of Swift, something we were really lacking and maybe w/some contributions from 1st round pick Head, who is probably our most athletic guard, it doesn't seem like it's impossible to improve from 51 wins. We really took off after we got Wesley. In addition, it took McGrady a couple of months to feel comfortable in our system. With a whole year under his belt, who's to say what we can do. However, I would like to add a pure point guard or athletic shooting guard, especially for the playoffs.

Wow ROCKET!!! THis is going to be fun.

Ok. looking forward....pacing is everything....no point to this....so it's a forward from the pacers.

relieved from suspension... don't get a stern warning again..Ron Artest!

    Fab five...export...Bobby....

    so let me see here.....

We're trading Bobby Sura and Juwan Howard for Ron Artest!

    Well, that was easy! :)
