    • Stupid trade rumor of the week, in the Toronto Sun: The Timberwolves' Kevin Garnett to the Detroit Pistons for Rasheed Wallace, Ben Wallace and two first-round draft picks. The Pistons, obviously, would make that deal in a hurry. With ex-Wolves coach Flip Saunders in Detroit, look for more of this type of media speculation.

What could happen, though, is Garnett trying to find a way out of Minnesota if the Wolves falter again next season. Garnett, 29, who will make $18 million this season, is signed through the 2008-09 season, when he'll receive $24 million.

    Kg - 23points, 14boards, 6assist

    Ben - 9points, 12boards, 2assist

    Sheed- 14points, 8boards, 2assist

With the two first round picks I say it is worth it for Detroit. Miami is better than them anyways, When KG had All-Star Cassell they made it to the western conference finals. Billups, Hamilton, Prince, would give him a supporting cast better than the 2003-2004 wolves. Detroit made the finals due to a Wade injury. Sheed is streaky, and Ben is a liability on offense. Prince is still improving I say the deal is a good deal. For those who say Kg can never win a championship, ya'll got him f@#%ed up. He's a top three player in the league. An with two first round picks you can stablize your team for more years to come.

KG is great. Better than Yao, at this point. If he were here, all we'd need is a somewhat average center and we'd win the championship. That's all it would take. Bet even Kandi man would suffice.

KG gets more defensive rebounds than Yao gets total and has a great Assist/TO ratio. He gets other people involved. Yao gets people open looks, but it's Tmac who has to give them the ball. Until Yao gets his assists numbers up through post passing, Garnett will always be the better player and better fit in houston.

I dont think the Pistons could make this trade.. how do you dismantle a championship team? Especially after you just made it to the Finals?

KG one of my fav. players would not be a good fit in detroit. The pistons have built this team with solid players, good contracts, good chemistry and I dont think KG will make this team better and could hurt their chemistry.

Who plays C? who plays PF? The Wallace brothers locked those positions down.

Is KG better than the Wallace brothers combined (talent)? Of course. even though I think Rasheed is severly underated (albeit an underperformer).
