now, which death do you think would be most painful ? To me, burning to death would be horrible. Extreme, long period of pain. Someone I know said drowning wouldn't be bad. About 4 minutes of pain (depending on lung capacity), and then you pass out. That would definitely be a long 4 mintues though.

as a lifeguard for 10 years... drowning. just plaind nasty.

A plane crash would be ok. I could use the little phone thingy to call my loved oned on the way down. at least it would be a fun ride before boom

death sucks no matter what, so you might as well say good bye, and experience zero g on the way

I would most certainly not want to have ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease). My ex-wife's brother-in-law had it, and it was simply horrible watching his body waste away while his mind stayed perfectly in tact. Toward the end, he couldn't even feed himself. But he always knew what was happening to him and what he once was.

yeah, but sometimes you can only laugh. I wasn't offended by your post at all.

Anyone watch Oz? Remember how Luke Perry's character died ? Yikes.

If you don't mind, can you tell me about the drowning ? You don't have to get too specific.

Any death involving "the jewels" is a death I want NO part of.

    ------

This death isn't the most painful, but it's one I'd be afraid to experience.

    Dying alone.

    Colliding with a planet.

On a side note, I want to tell you that I died in a dream once. The car in front of mine slammed on it's breaks, I then slammed on mine, I went through the winshield and slid about 100 feet across the street. I turned to get up and the car I was driving hit my head going about 50 mph. I can tell you that I felt nothing. It was instant. I began to float away from my body like they say you do. I was about ten feet in the air and I woke up in a cold sweat. I found it strange that I died just the way people talk about it. It still freaks me out to this day. It's something I will never forget, but the feeling was painless. Truthfully, it was an awkward sensation. Nothing painful. Nothing Scary. Just kind of like watching something happen. That's how it felt.

No plane crashes! Can you imagine knowing you are going to die and not be able to do a thing about it? You are about to fall 30,000 ft and hit the ground. Ahhhhhh. I'm having a panic attack just thinking about it.

I can vouch for the indignity of ALS - Mr. Keeley died of it.

    No thanks.
