I haven't been a Christian for a number of years but I distinctly remember going to church Easter sunday's. It was quite a day for our church in particular. My father and I used to get up at 3am and go to the church to help prepare Easter breakfast. I remember eating WAY too many scrambled eggs. Oh, and even now, I still think that the sunrise services on Buffalo Bayou are just wonderful. To me, that is the way God meant church to be - outside in nature. Any religious holiday with as much importance as this one deserves some recognition. By the way, if anyone would like to forward their Easter candy to me - you know, Cadbury eggs, Reeces peanut butter cups, etc - as a way to avoid eating too much candy on Easter, feel free!!!
