There is plenty of guys who I think could contribute who are under the radar right now that could step in and give some depth for evidently cheap, because they are "under the radar"
Couple of names which I dont know much about but think could give some help are:
I belive all of them are free agents but Im not sure
    1. Eddie House
    2. DeMarr Johnson
    3. Shannon Anderson
    4. Jay Williams
Any others? What do you guys think about these guys? Where they might end up? And would they fit at any spot on our team?

Demar Johnson is the most appealing out of that list. i think he could eventually be a starting 2 guard caliaber player in the NBA. Shandon Anderson? been ther one that. no way!

Williams or House are 2 other players who can be given a trial period to prove there Worth.

Would only consider Dermarr out of your list....others I wouldn't mind acquiring (via signing or trade) include Morris Peterson, Aaron McKie, Anthony Johnson, Gerald Wallace, Jumaine Jones

Didn't Eddie House beat us by himself when he was playing for charlotte. I remembered he kept making all the shots and we had no chance of coming back. Dam that reminds me we lost twice to Bobcats.

    Shandon Anderson

Get your self into the clinic. NOW

We've already struck out with this guy once. Hell. What am I thinking? He is an ex Knick so he's a lock to come back.

I am heading for the clinic

These are good. These would be very good. Unfortunately, they are not old enough. But...on the plus side for the Rockets...they have been severely injured!

Speaking of Jay Williams, I just realized that since he's only had 1 year experience in the NBA that he should be eligible for the NBDL. We should be able to sign him, and stash him in the D-league so that it frees up a roster spot. Then we could possibly bring him back up after we make some trades during the season.

    Gerald Wallace.

He probably can be had for cheap.

The Bobcats just traded Jason Hart for a second round pick.

There is no point in bringing old and broken down players.

    Just my two cents.

I'd like to see us get DerMarr Johnson and/or Gerald Wallace.

Anybody heard any rumors about where those two are headed?

Kid can play hot on when he wants to but problem is he seems to want to only half the time. But heck, if we could get him for cheap why wouldn't we want to do that. Most likely though that you can't get him for cheap.

Nice thought about sending him to the NDBL. But I don't think it clears a roster spot. He would just qualify as inactive.

    jay williams, i like.

dermarr johnson, i have a couple questions about. i don't see where everyone is getting this scouting report on dermarr that he's some sort of defensive specialist. sure, he may have the build for it (6'9" lengthy arms), but even hoopshype.com had a pretty low report for him on this area:

Quite an athlete even after the car accident... Good mobility and ballhandling skills for his size... Doesn't play much defense... Shaky jumper.

    http://hoopshype.com/players/dermarr_johnson.htm

but then again, if the rockets go after him, then they have my full confidence. in JVG i trust.
